Kub and Prima: Promteh presented budget off-road vans

Both vehicles are built on the new Kapitan all-wheel drive chassis

The domestic company "Promteh" has presented the latest all-wheel drive vehicles of the Kub and Prima family, which are built on the new Kapitan chassis.

They offer customers two options: the Kub cargo-passenger van and the Prima ambulance. Both vehicles are equipped with a 2.5-liter diesel engine with a capacity of 143 hp, which works in tandem with a 6-speed manual transmission. The gross weight of the vehicles reaches 3.5 tons. At the initial stage, the localization of vehicle production will be from 55% to 60%.

The Kub model features a rigid metal frame and external and internal fiberglass coating with a layer of sound-absorbing materials. Plywood is installed in the cabin, which can be reinforced with corrugated aluminum if necessary. The cargo van can be equipped with five or six seats, as well as a cargo compartment with a volume of 9 m³. In addition, versions with seven or eight seats and a cargo compartment with a volume of 7 m³ are available. You can also order an 11-seater bus with a luggage compartment of 0.3 m³.

The Prima model, despite its technical similarity to the Kub, has a simplified design and more cargo space. All versions of these machines can be equipped with one or two side doors.

Additional options are offered for buyers, such as an extended frame, larger wheels, rear air suspension with separate contour adjustment, and a stabilizer bar. Modifications are also available for more serious off-road driving, including a power bumper, headlight protection, a winch and a platform for installing a rear winch.
