Dagestan will acquire unmanned aerial vehicles to combat forest fires. The federal center will allocate 1.5 million rubles for this purpose.
The purchase will take place within the framework of the national project "Unmanned Aviation Systems" and the federal project "Stimulating Demand for Domestic Unmanned Aviation Systems." A cooperation agreement has been signed between the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia and Dagleskhoz.
The region will be able to purchase modern equipment on more favorable terms than usual. Drone manufacturers will provide the authorities with a discount, and the compensation for it will then be received from the Ministry of Industry and Trade. In the first quarter of 2025, 11 unmanned aviation systems purchased in 2024 will arrive in Dagestan.
Earlier, www1.ru wrote about how Dagestan started training UAV control specialists for free. The "Tekhnolyot" training center has opened in Makhachkala. Training is free for military personnel and those who wish to go on contract service.
