According to insiders, the serial production of Lada Niva Sport faces a number of difficulties that affect the volume of car production and their assembly. Despite the initial positive statements about the model, the reality of production turned out to be less optimistic.
It is emphasized that Lada Niva Sport is a niche product, which is characterized by the high cost of assembly and constant difficulties with components. Due to the limited number of parts and difficulties with their supply, the production of the model is carried out in extremely small volumes.
On average, the factory assembles 14-16 cars per day, of which only 1-3 units are Lada Niva Sport. At this rate, the production of the model per month does not exceed several dozen cars, which excludes the possibility of mass distribution.
Insiders also reported problems at the assembly stage. The process is delayed by the refinement of the gearbox and transfer case, as well as a shortage of components. According to them, there are now only two cars at the production site that were assembled before these problems appeared.
