The State Duma has proposed introducing a reward system for helping to catch phone scammers. The initiative was put forward by Deputy Anton Tkachev from the "New People" party.
The politician sent a corresponding appeal to the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Vladimir Kolokoltsev. In the initiative, he proposes to reward those who were able to deceive scammers and receive an advance from them for a future alleged crime.
If the failed victim of the attacker outwitted the fraudsters and received an advance of at least 50 thousand rubles, Tkachev proposes to pay 10 thousand rubles. And if information about the location of the crooks leads to their detention, then this person will receive 100 thousand rubles.
