Первые базовые станции 5G российского производства вошли в реестр Минпромторга

The "Irteya" stations are planned to be produced in volumes of up to 15,000 units per year

In Russia, 5G base stations of domestic production have been included in the register of the Ministry of Industry and Trade for the first time. The equipment developer is the telecom vendor "Irteya", and the production is carried out by the "Aquarius" group of companies, located in the city of Shuya, Ivanovo region.

The first batch of stations has already been installed in the MTS network. The annual production volume is planned to be increased to 15,000 base stations. The project was made possible thanks to the support of the Russian government.

A specialized laboratory has been opened at VDNH in Moscow to test the compatibility of "Irteya" base stations with various devices and equipment operating in the 5G network.

As part of the development of new generation networks, it is expected that by 2030, 5G will cover at least 16 Russian cities. The first serial samples of base stations should be ready as early as 2025, and mass construction of infrastructure will begin in 2026.
