Free travel on toll roads in Russia in 2025 will remain only for domestic electric vehicles. This was reported by the Telegram channel "Autopotok."
According to their data, from January 10, 2025, the T-pass transponder must have the "electric vehicle" mark for free travel, and the car itself must be of Russian production. This mark will be removed from foreign electric vehicles. So far, the "Avtodor" group of companies has not officially confirmed or denied this information.
The right to free travel on toll federal highways for electric vehicle owners in Russia appeared from March 1, 2023, as part of an experiment by the Ministry of Economic Development and "Avtodor." Later, the Russian government extended this experimental regime until the end of 2024. It concerned electric vehicles of both Russian and foreign production. However, there has been no official announcement about extending this regime to 2025.
