The "Barrier" unmanned aerial vehicle counteraction system has successfully passed testing and has begun to be used on the front lines. This was announced by the official representative of JSC "NPP" Igor Potapov.
According to him, when creating trench warfare electronic warfare equipment, the company realized that it was necessary to move into countering FPV drones and make the model range much lighter and more compact. Potapov.
Currently, we have successfully completed testing of the "Barrier" product, intended to combat FPV drones and disrupt the enemy's fire artillery reconnaissance complex. The weight of the product is up to 20 kg.
The specialist noted that the "Barrier" is planned to be used in conjunction with another compact electronic warfare device, the "Skovoroda", which fits in a backpack and effectively counteracts commercial drones such as DJI.
