In 2025, a completely new KamAZ will be released in Russia, which can be driven with a "passenger car" license. We are talking about a model in the "Compass" line - "Compass 3", the total weight of the car will not exceed 3.5 tons.
The smallest "Compass" will be released in the line by the end of 2025. It will receive a cab from the "Compass 5" model, but the wheels will be compact, and the frame will be less massive.
At the same time, the car will receive a power unit from the older model - a 2.2 liter turbodiesel with a capacity of 122 hp in combination with a five-speed manual gearbox.
At the moment, "Compass 5" costs 4.9 million rubles without subsidies, but the new model is likely to be cheaper.
