The company "Russian Railways" (RZD) and Wildberries signed an agreement on the joint development of digital services and services for passengers within the framework of the Passenger Forum in Moscow. This was reported by the press service of the railway company.
We strive to simplify passengers' access to ticket content as much as possible, reduce the time spent on processing travel documents, and expand the methods of payment. The cooperation agreement with Wildberries provides for the integration of a digital service for the sale of railway tickets into the digital platform of the marketplace.
The agreement envisages several key areas of interaction. Firstly, it is planned to improve the efficiency of companies through the introduction of modern technological solutions and the integration of digital platforms of Russian Railways and Wildberries.
Secondly, the sale of tickets for railway transport will be organized on the marketplace platform. This will simplify the purchase process for users.
The agreement also includes the promotion of various tourist products of Russian Railways and other non-ticket services (rail cruises, hotel booking, organization of excursions). This will expand opportunities for passengers and make trips more comfortable and diverse.
Earlier www1.ru reported that Russian Railways is testing a system for paying for tickets by geolocation in the Kaliningrad region.
