Sales statistics for Lada Aura have been announced. In two weeks, private buyers purchased only three cars. This was reported by the editor-in-chief of "Za Rulem," Maxim Kadakov, citing the words of the president of AvtoVAZ, Maxim Sokolov.
As a reminder, retail sales of Lada Aura started on November 29th of this year, but the delivery of the first cars faced some delays. The model is offered in two trim levels: Premier at a price of 2.6 million rubles and Status for 2.8 million rubles.
Lada Aura is equipped with the same units as the top version of Lada Vesta, including a 1.8-liter engine with 122 hp and a Chinese WLY CVT18 variator. Despite expectations, the start of sales was less successful than planned.
