The military-industrial holding "Kingisepp Machine-Building Plant" (KMZ) has transferred two buoy tender vessels (project 3050) to "Rechvodput". In total, in 2024, specialists built six such vessels, said Mikhail Danilenko, Managing Director of the holding.
We are on schedule: we have launched two more vessels commissioned by "Rechvodput". To date, out of 13 vessels, six have already been built and four have been handed over to the customer, the rest are at different stages of construction.
The top manager added that mooring trials of two more vessels will be carried out at the turn of 2024-2025.
Buoy tender vessels are used for:
- laying waterways
- depth control
- determination of fairways
- placement of buoys
