Ka-52 reconnaissance and attack helicopters have long been known as effective fighters against armored vehicles. But now they are no less effective in destroying air targets, including large aircraft-type UAVs.
A selection of photos and videos of the Ka-52 operating in fighter mode has appeared online.
The footage shows the display of the navigator-operator of the helicopter before the launch of guided air-to-air missiles. According to information from open sources, the Ka-52 uses Igla-V guided missiles.
A VG-26 "Bobr" aircraft-type UAV, capable of carrying a charge weighing up to 75 kg, was caught in the crosshairs. A couple of seconds later, the target was destroyed.
Earlier www1.ru reported that the latest drones with thermobaric shells have appeared on the front line.
