Photographs from the exhibition were published by the North Korean state news agency, CTAK. Experts at Army Recognition noticed the updated Bulsae-4 on them.

The new version is based on an 8x8 chassis, which provides increased mobility. Apparently, the modernized Bulsae-4 is based on the design of the M-2010 platform. The developers wanted to make it more spacious.
