Footage has emerged of fragments of American low-observable tactical ATACMS missiles. They were shot down by Russian S-400 and Pantsir-S1 anti-aircraft missile systems, the Ministry of Defense said.
In the background, you can see the Pantsir-S1 SAM system on an elevated firing position, which intercepted one of the ATACMS Block IA OTRs on the terminal section of the trajectory at the moment the first one entered the "dead zone" of the S-400 air defense system.
Combat crews of the S-400 air defense system and the Pantsir SAM system shot down seven missiles.
ATACMS is an operational-tactical ballistic missile developed by Lockheed Martin. It can be launched from multiple launch rocket systems, including the M142 HIMARS.
