Hackers have found a way to reveal the identities of administrators of anonymous channels in Telegram. We tell you what happened.
To reveal the digital identity of a Telegram channel author, you need to know their ID. Hackers have calculated that you can get the ID number through emojis and stickers created by the channel owner.
It turned out that the person's ID is available through the UID of the created packs. Further de-anonymization is just a matter of technique for attackers.
Earlier www1.ru wrote that hackers learned to "hijack" Telegram from gullible users, and also that a bug was discovered in the Telegram desktop application that helps attackers.
