The Sollers brand has presented new models for the Russian market and shared technical developments. One of the most interesting new products is a platform designed for pickups and SUVs.
According to AvtoPotok, Sollers is working on creating a platform together with an "eastern partner". It is likely that we are talking about a company from China. Perhaps it is JAC, Sollers' main partner at the moment.
Since the platform is being developed for pickups and SUVs, and Sollers owns UAZ, it can be assumed that the platform will also be used in cars of the Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant - "Patriot" and "Pickup".
Earlier, Sollers announced the release of 13 new car models by 2025: SP7 minivan, SE9 electric bus, ST9 pickup, Atlant XL minibus. Next year, the brand plans to launch the production of city buses, school vehicles and commercial vans.
Sollers also announced an increase in localization of parts. By the end of 2024, the company was going to produce 8 thousand six-speed gearboxes.
