The Russian Caspian Flotilla will receive ships with a new weapons system. This was announced by Admiral Alexander Moiseev, Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Navy, in his congratulatory message to the Caspian sailors.

In the short term, the Caspian Flotilla will continue to be equipped with new weapons systems and new ships, which will allow it to perform all its functions at the proper level.
In addition, the development of coastal infrastructure is continuing, creating a self-sufficient and comprehensive basing system for the Caspian Flotilla forces. The coastal and aviation flotillas will also be developed taking into account the exclusion of any threats from the sea, he added.
