The Caspian Flotilla of Russia will receive ships with a new weapons system. This was announced by Admiral Alexander Moiseev, Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Navy, in his congratulatory message to the Caspian sailors.
He noted that the flotilla already has the latest ships equipped with high-precision weapons.
In the short term, the Caspian Flotilla will continue to be equipped with new weapons systems and new ships, which will allow it to perform all its functions at the proper level.
In addition, the development of coastal infrastructure is continuing, creating a self-sufficient and comprehensive basing system for the forces of the Caspian Flotilla. The coastal and aviation flotillas will also be developed taking into account the exclusion of any threats from the sea, he added.
