State Duma deputies will consider a bill clarifying the requirements for electronic appeals of citizens to state bodies. The initiative was proposed by the legislative assembly of the Krasnodar Territory.
The authors of the document noted that deputies in the Southern Federal District faced a massive spam mailing from foreign email addresses.
The share of motivated, justified and not containing signs of spam mailings sent from email addresses registered in a foreign domain zone does not exceed 5%.
If the initiative is approved, government bodies will only consider letters that come from mail servers in the domestic domain zone. Positive feedback on the draft law came from 47 regional parliaments.
