The latest "Molniya-1" unmanned aerial vehicles have become available to the Russian military. They are characterized by cheap production and small size, as they are made of plywood and plastic.
The range of the "Molniya-1" is approximately 40 km. It is capable of carrying various types of weapons weighing up to 5 kg. It attracts attention with its simple design and efficiency in performing combat missions.
The "Molniya-1" is equipped with a nose electric motor of an unknown model with a pulling propeller. Two 7500 mAh batteries are installed on already known unmanned aerial vehicles.
The "Molniya" is controlled manually by an operator, which requires very high qualifications from him. The main advantage of this UAV is its low cost, since it is assembled from aluminum tubes, plywood, foam and polystyrene.
Earlier www1.ru reported that the frigate "Admiral Golovko" with "Zircons" worked out combat operations in the English Channel.
