Artificial intelligence analyzes conversations and warns of potential threats in real time

MTS operator has launched a new "Safe Call" function, which expands the capabilities of the "Defender" service. This function allows you to receive a voice warning from artificial intelligence about possible fraud during a telephone conversation.

The voice notification is only heard by the user who accepted the call. You can connect the service through the "My MTS" application in the "Defender" section. Artificial intelligence analyzes the conversation, identifying signs of fraud. If the system notices suspicious activity, it warns the subscriber with a voice notification about a potential threat, after which the subscriber decides whether to continue the conversation. As MTS promises, most fraudsters will be identified within the first minute of the conversation.

The pilot project of the new function was launched in Moscow in May 2024. According to MTS, telephone fraudsters most often introduce themselves as employees of mobile operators (78%), social, pension and tax services (9%), as well as banks and other departments (5%). Now "Safe Call" is available in all regions of MTS presence. When connecting the service, there is a free 7-day period, after which the cost will be 199 rubles per month.
