Russian military personnel on the front lines are using the light armored vehicle LSTS-1944. It is equipped with a small-sized multifunctional circular view radar station based on the active phased array radar "Repeinik" from the "SOZ" group of companies. This radar is capable of detecting targets with an effective reflecting surface of 0.1 sq. m at a distance of 2000 m and 0.1 sq. m – 2700 m.
It can be used as a combat or firing mode radar for EW complexes with directional antenna modules with a beam width of 3 - 1 degrees, as well as for anti-aircraft machine gun complexes based on NSV-12.7, KPV, GSHG-7.62, and ZU-23-2.
LSTS-1944 is equipped with a 150 hp diesel engine, which provides a range of up to 500 km. This autonomy is an important advantage, allowing fighters to remain independent of logistical routes and increasing the efficiency of task execution.
Earlier, The National Interest called the Russian T-72 tank the greatest in the world. Journalists stated Russia's ability to mass-produce modern modifications of the combat vehicle.
