The "Russian Railways" (RZD) company has opened ticket sales for the high-speed double-decker train "Aurora". This was reported by the company's press service.
The train will include 15 cars with a capacity of over 1,000 passengers. Travel time - 5.5 hours.
The double-decker "Aurora" will begin running between Moscow and St. Petersburg on December 19. It will depart "mirror"-like from Moscow and St. Petersburg twice a day: at 06:00 and 13:50.
The train is equipped with a "starry sky" diffused lighting system. The seats in the cars are equipped with USB-A, USB-C ports and electrical outlets.
The train also has a sleeping car, a restaurant car and a staff car. Tickets can be purchased on the Russian Railways website.
Earlier www1.ru reported that the double-decker high-speed train will once againrun between Moscow and St. Petersburg.
