Serial Production of LADA Aura Starts at AvtoVAZ: First Cars Delivered to State Structures

Putin Shares Impressions from the Ride and Notes the Model's Competitiveness

Russian President Vladimir Putin highly praised the new LADA Aura car model, the serial production of which was launched at the AvtoVAZ plant in the Samara region. During the ceremony, held via video link, the head of state shared his impressions of driving this car in the summer and noted its modernity and convenience.

Putin emphasized that the LADA Aura features good handling, a powerful engine, and a convenient rear-view system, which particularly impressed him during the trip. The President noted that the car is equipped with everything necessary for comfortable driving, making it modern and competitive in the market. He congratulated the AvtoVAZ team on the launch of serial production, expressing gratitude for their work and professionalism.

During the ceremony, the first serial car with the inscription "First Serial" on the door was solemnly rolled off the assembly line. The President once again congratulated the plant and its employees on this achievement.

Earlier, in the summer of 2023, Putin personally tested the LADA Aura, driving this car along a new section of the M-11 Moscow – St. Petersburg highway. In August, he also praised the car for its comfort and handling.

Pre-production models of LADA Aura have already begun to be used in a number of state structures, such as the Ministry of Finance, Rostec State Corporation, and the government of the Samara region. According to the Kremlin, these cars are used for official purposes, and in late September it became known about the start of purchases of LADA Aura for transport services for civil servants.

From 2025, PJSC "AvtoVAZ" plans to produce about 8,000 cars of this model annually.
