The military-industrial holding "Kingisepp Machine-Building Plant" (KMZ) is strengthening cooperation with the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation. It is planned to manufacture air-cooled diesel generator sets AD5.2 with a capacity of 4.5 kW and a voltage of 230 V, the company's press service reported.
The stations are manufactured in a protective casing, have a heating system for operation in a temperature range from -50 °С to +50 °С and are designed for 11 hours of continuous operation. They will also be supplemented with a set of spare parts for timely maintenance.
The units will become backup power sources on special-purpose vehicles.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that KMZ will become the unified center for the production of unmanned boats.
