At the Speed of "Hurricane": Russian Heavy MLRS Strengthens Counter-Battery Warfare on the Front Line

Maximum firing range is 36 km

The Russian Uragan multiple launch rocket system on the front performs tasks to defeat artillery units, strongholds, mortar sections and helps motorized rifle units during an offensive. The complex has proven itself in counter-battery combat with artillery of the enemy.

We have a maximum firing range of 36 km, but sometimes we get closer to work deep into the enemy's formations. We try to hit the rear, deployment sites, artillery installations, analogues of our "Hurricanes" - thereby we strengthen counter-battery warfare.

Combat vehicles of the Uragan system are loaded with ammunition in a special disguised area. Since 220-mm rockets cannot be charged into the installation manually, a transport-loading machine (TLM) is used for this.

Often the enemy tries to strike at the installation with drones, but the fighters are ready to meet them.

We can repel an air attack at any moment. We have people who are trained to work with guns and thermal imagers.

Earlier www1.ru reported that the Su-57 fighter could accidentally shoot down the S-70 Okhotnik UAV. A technical error in the tactical information exchange channel could be the likely cause of the emergency.
