The Kalashnikov arms concern is increasing the production of GSh-301 aircraft guns. Compared to 2023, the implementation of the aircraft gun production plan in 2024 is proceeding exactly on schedule, taking into account the multiple increase in order volumes.
The GSh-301 is currently part of the armament of MiG-29, MiG-29K/KUB, Su-27, Su-30, Su-35 fighters, and Su-34 front-line bombers. Its production uses high-alloy steel grades and the latest high-tech equipment, which simultaneously reduces the manufacturing process of the product and provides it with excellent quality.
The concern noted that during the time of active combat use, the GSh-301 did not receive a single complaint from the customer, which confirms the great professional skill of the only Russian manufacturer of aircraft guns.
The GSh-301 received the unofficial name "ballerina" in aviation for its high rate of fire and lightness. It surpasses analogues in accuracy, precision and rate of fire. According to most foreign and domestic military experts, the product is still one of the best in its class in the world.
