Russian stationary anti-aircraft missile and gun modules "Pantsir-SMD" have begun to be installed on universal lattice tower platforms in Crimea. Analyst Damantsev spoke about the advantages of this method of deploying air defense equipment.

According to Damantsev, the "Pantsir-SMD" will also be able to more effectively counter the AGM-154E multi-purpose tactical cruise missiles, which are equipped with F-16AM fighter squadrons.
