Trump emphasized that Musk and his work in the space industry played a key role in restoring US leadership in this area.

Earlier, the former head of the US National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), Charles Bolden, who held this position from 2009 to 2017, expressed hope for cooperation between the United States, Russia and China in space. He noted that such cooperation could allow for cross-flights and ensure international access to national orbital complexes. Bolden stressed that space has the potential to bring people together, contributing to the achievement of common goals.
