Ramenskoye Instrument-Making Plant (RPZ, part of KRET) has produced more than 1 million military and civilian products. The company is one of the key players in the aviation cluster of the Russian industry, the Rostec press service reported.
RPZ produces modern navigation systems and complexes for combat and civil aviation. The advanced Russian equipment is equipped with devices manufactured at this plant.
According to the head of Rostec Sergey Chemezov, RPZ products are installed on heavy transport aircraft, Su and MiG family fighters, as well as on new passenger liners.
It is known that over the years the plant has put into operation over 400 types of airborne navigation devices, systems and complexes. Almost all types of aircraft and helicopters after 1940 are equipped with RPZ devices.
Now the company's employees are increasing the production of strapdown inertial navigation systems – BINS units for SU-35S, Su-57, MiG-29, MiG-35, S-70 aircraft.
