The "Synergy" design bureau has created an unmanned aerial vehicle "Asya" for reconnaissance and other purposes. The drone is built according to the "tailsitter" aerodynamic configuration, and will soon be tested by the military.
"Asya" is a VTOL UAV. The drone lands on special "ribs" on the tail, and takes off in the same way.
Characteristics of the Asya tailsitter:
- Folding/unfolding time - 5 minutes.
- Payload - 1 kg.
- Flight time - 1 hour.
- Flight range - up to 30 km.
- Application options - repeater, reconnaissance, kamikaze.
The developers reported that the device is resistant to electronic warfare. The drone is easy to manufacture.
Our task was to create a device adapted for production in the most unprepared premises, even in a container. The main thing is a properly configured 3D printer, our documentation and manufacturing instructions.
In total, three versions of the aircraft were designed - reconnaissance, repeater, kamikaze. If necessary, the drone can be equipped with a thermal imaging camera.
The developers emphasized that the main task was to create a reconnaissance UAV of the aircraft type, which is not yet available in Russia.
