"UEC-Kuznetsov" has launched a new test bench for qualification and state tests of serial models of aviation gas turbine engines.
The bench has been completely reconstructed. This included replacing the control panel, test box, and installing new shafts.
The launch of the bench was attended by the Minister of Industry and Trade of Russia, Anton Alikhanov, who noted that significant investments, including state investments, were made in the modernization of the enterprise. Since 2016, a program of renovation and creation of new workshops has been underway, as a result of which about 35% of the plant's territory is now occupied by new or deeply modernized infrastructure.
After the completion of construction and installation works, certification tests of the bench systems will begin. Serial products of UEC-Kuznetsov will be allowed for testing only after the successful completion of these procedures.
