Russian military personnel at the forefront have destroyed a heavy Swedish infantry fighting vehicle CV9040C "Stridsfordon-90". This was reported by military expert Evgeny Damantsev.
According to him, the equipment was eliminated with the help of a 9M133-1 guided anti-tank missile, hitting the weakened stern turret projection from the "Cornet" ATGM.
"Cornet" is designed to engage advanced and modern armored vehicles equipped with dynamic protection, enemy manpower, fortifications, and low-speed surface and air targets at any time of the day.
Characteristics of 9M133-1:
- Firing range - 100-5500 m
- Armor penetration - up to 1000-1200 mm behind dynamic protection
- Missile weight in the transport and launch container - 29 kg
