Russian designers have developed an air-to-air missile to counter Western fighters, including F-16 aircraft. This was announced by the deputy commander of the guards fighter aviation regiment of the Russian Aerospace Forces.
According to him, the Russian Federation is "preparing surprises" in the form of an improved missile. It is capable of hitting various models of aircraft, as it was designed "for any aircraft".
The military man added that the missile can hit "energetically maneuvering targets" and has increased accuracy. The name of the new weapon and its tactical and technical characteristics, as well as delivery vehicles, have not yet been disclosed.
We are not standing still, our industry is working. We already know that there will be more "surprises".
Earlier www1.ru reported that the Russian Armed Forces had begun to use a new type of missile to engage the enemy. They fly significantly further and are twice as accurate thanks to the built-in motor.
