The Russian Ministry of Defense reported the destruction of a British Spartan armored personnel carrier for the first time. The equipment was eliminated by units of the "Center" group of forces.

In addition, eight vehicles and three combat armored vehicles were destroyed. A "Hyacinth-B" gun, an American M777 howitzer, and a "Gvozdika" self-propelled artillery unit were also hit.

FV103 Spartan is a tracked armored personnel carrier of the British army. The vehicle can carry up to seven personnel, including three crew members.  Armed with a single 7.62 mm machine gun, it is practically indistinguishable from FV102 Striker in appearance. The Ministry of Defense has not previously reported the destruction of a Spartan.
