The corporate vacation has ended at the Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant (UAZ). During the downtime, the equipment was modernized. Now the quality of car painting has improved.
The conveyor sections responsible for sending primed bodies to painting stations have been updated. Now, the risk of defects during the painting of parts will be reduced.
Another improvement was the introduction of an equipment diagnostics system. Thanks to this, malfunctions during the operation of the conveyor will be detected faster, and less time will be required to eliminate them. Because of this, the conveyor will be idle less than before using such a system.
The company also continues to improve the working conditions of personnel. Sanitary facilities were renovated, window units were replaced, the floors were changed in the economics and finance department, and the roofing was updated at the compressor stations and the side member building.
