The company "RM Rail" has started producing autonomous refrigerated railcars of model 16-1247. This was announced by the head of Mordovia, Artem Zdunov.
The technical characteristics of the new product are already presented on the website of "RM Rail".
Two years ago, we were approaching this topic, and now we are engaged in the production of wagons and refrigerators, they allow transporting goods over long distances for up to 60 days. Moreover, they maintain temperature, maintain pressure.
Technical characteristics of refrigerated railcar 16-1247:
- Load capacity — 60 tons.
- Body volume — 132 m3.
- Floor area — 47 m2.
- Length along the center lines of couplers — 20760±20mm.
- Height from rail head level — 4720±20 mm.
- Wagon base — 16540±10 mm.
- Axle load — 25 tons.
- GOST dimension — 9238 1-T.
- Body heat transfer coefficient — 0.2 W/m2 °C
- Service life — 25 years.
The wagon is planned to be produced on bogies of its own design. Their axle load is 25 tons. The shelf life of perishable goods is 20 days.
The company plans to certify wagon 16-1247 by the end of this year.
