Unionpay cards of the "Russian Agricultural Bank" (RSKhB) continued to work abroad. This was reported by representatives of the bank.
Cards can be used in 70 countries. However, in June of this year, the bank warned users about a possible suspension of Unionpay cards in July outside of Russia. Later, customers were advised to stock up on cash.
We see that at the moment settlements abroad are carried out and UnionPay transactions continue to take place in different countries. Nevertheless, we recommend that everyone who is abroad make the necessary purchases or withdraw cash as soon as possible, as there may be interruptions in the operation of cards of this payment system outside the Russian Federation.
RSKhB is under EU sanctions. It is disconnected from the international interbank system SWIFT. In addition to the Russian Agricultural Bank, Gazprombank, St. Petersburg, ATB, Zenit and Primsotsbank issue cards of the Chinese payment system UnionPay.
Earlier www1.ru reported that the Russian payment system "Mir" began working in Myanmar.
