Telegram has removed access to monetization for channel owners from Russia. The "Monetization" tab has disappeared from the "Statistics" section of the channel.
Monetization in the messenger was launched on April 1 this year. It became available to Russians only on July 19.
With the help of the new function, channel owners with an audience of more than 1 thousand people can receive 50% of the advertising revenue. Transfers are credited in Toncoin cryptocurrency. It was planned that monetization would be available in 100 countries, without clarification.
Earlier www1.ru reported that Pavel Durov's messenger was fined 3 million.
