The country's main arms concern, Kalashnikov, increased the production of military and civilian products by 50% in the period from January to June 2024. At the same time, its revenue increased by 70% compared to the same period in 2023, the concern's press service reported.
There is growth in all areas: from increasing the volume of military products to the associated load on machine tool and tool production.
The weapons production division received new contracts in the second half of the year. In the machine tool division, the volume of orders from external customers increased by 13%.
Customers are actively interested in 250ITVM machines. From January to June 2024, the concern's enterprises assembled twice as many machines as in the first half of last year.
In the special equipment division, the plans for shipping products under the state defense order have been completed by 100%, and new production sites are being actively used, where several dozen new equipment units have been put into operation since the beginning of the year.
