A pilot site for a situation center to monitor unmanned aerial vehicles will be launched before the end of 2024 in Novosibirsk, according to the head of the Ministry of Digital Development of the region, Sergey Tsukar.
The main task of the center is to monitor unmanned aerial vehicles in the sky.
Specialists at the center will conduct round-the-clock UAV monitoring. At the same time, municipalities will be entrusted with issues related to flight coordination, based on the unified air traffic management information system from Rosaviatsia.
Thus, the digital platforms of the situation center will be integrated with flight planning systems. A decision on allocating budget funds for this area will be made after the implementation of the pilot project.
What tasks will the UAV flight monitoring situation center solve:
- coordination of flights over populated areas
- monitoring of the air situation
- operational interaction with participants in the organization of flights
