Speed Up to 500 km/h: Advanced Straight-Wing Kamikaze Drone Appears in Russian Armed Forces

Unknown UAV with radio-transparent fairing spotted on the front lines

A previously unknown unmanned aerial vehicle with a straight wing has been spotted on the front lines. This indicates a subsonic speed of the product, as well as high flight performance, noted military expert Evgeny Damantsev.

The analyst also drew attention to the radio-transparent surge-fairing, under which the antenna of the GLONASS/GPS correction module is located.

The type of drone power plant has not yet been reported, but it may be a gasoline internal combustion engine or a small-sized solid propellant engine. They provide a flight speed of up to 500 km/h and the ability to perform anti-aircraft maneuvers.

According to him, the UAV can be equipped with an optoelectronic correction module operating in the infrared and TV channels.

Earlier it became known that the Russian heavy flamethrower system TOS-1A "Solntsepek" on the front line received additional two-tier protection to the standard anti-cumulative anti-drone "visors".
