JSC "Rosatom Automated Control Systems" (part of Rosatom State Corporation) and the kicksharing company MTS Urent have signed an agreement to develop the charging infrastructure for micromobility transport, the company's press service reported.
Rosatom specialists will create electric charging stations (ECS) to improve infrastructure in the regions where electric scooters are present.
Since 2023, MTS Urent has been developing the 'short distance' project. The essence of the project is to place charging cabinets for personal mobility devices in large cities, which significantly reduce the distance from the battery charging location to the main scooter parking lots.
Currently, more than 200 charging stations have been installed in Moscow. This approach has improved logistics in the capital and made the use of personal mobility devices comfortable.
By 2030, the number of ECS is planned to increase to 10,000. The network will be deployed throughout Russia - from large stations to AC charging stations at residential buildings.
Earlier,www1.ru reported that a 1.3 km long bike lanehas appeared in Moscow.
