JSC "Rosatom Automated Control Systems" (part of Rosatom State Corporation) and the kicksharing company MTS Urent have signed an agreement to develop the charging infrastructure for micromobility transport. This was reported by the company's press service.
Rosatom specialists will create electric charging stations (ECS) to improve infrastructure in the regions where electric scooters are present.
Since 2023, MTS Urent has been developing the "short haul" project. The essence of the project is to place charging cabinets for individual mobility devices in large cities, which significantly reduce the distance from the battery charging location to the main scooter parking areas.
Currently, more than 200 charging devices have been installed in Moscow. This approach has improved logistics in the capital and made the use of individual mobility devices comfortable.
By 2030, the number of ECS is planned to increase to 10,000. The network will be deployed throughout Russia — from large stations to AC charging stations at residential buildings.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that a 1.3 km long bike lane appeared in Moscow.
