The holding "High-Precision Complexes" of the state corporation "Rostec" reacted to thelatest package of anti-Russian sanctions from the EU. The sanctions list includes the holding's enterprises - JSC "Barnaultransmash", whichproduces, in particular, engines for infantry fighting vehicles and armored personnel carriers, and the 144th and 560th armored repair plants.
Our enterprises continue to modernize, expand production facilities and put new equipment into operation. Today, the number of employees at the factories has increased significantly and continues to grow. We are ready to employ even more specialists and provide them with good working conditions and salaries, as well as social benefits. In this regard, we perceive the sanctions as a high assessment of our work and nothing more; they will not affect the implementation of the state defense order. The factories are operating as normal. We will not leave our valiant Armed Forces without armored vehicles! We serve Russia!
Earlier, "High-Precision" was already sanctioned by the United States in March 2022. Thus, Washington intended to exert a"deep and long-term impact on the Russian defense industrial base and supply chains" and cut off the holding and other enterprises of the Russian defense industry from Western technologies and finance.
