Русского «Суслика» защитят от дронов: ЗРК «Стрела-10» получит устройство радиоэлектронного подавления

The All-Army Academy of the Armed Forces of Russia has received a patent for the device

The All-Army Academy of the Armed Forces of Russia has patented an electronic warfare (EW) device for drones for the Strela-10 anti-aircraft missile system (according to NATO classification SA-13 Gopher). The development will increase the complex's effectiveness in combating aerial targets.

The patent materials state that the UAV counteraction system will include an active fire component and a passive electronic component. This refers to an EW device in a housing made in the form factor of a transport and launch container for the SAM system.

It can be installed on the launcher of a combat vehicle. The engineers also implemented a function for determining the type of drone and interference parameters in the device. According to the inventors, the implementation of the EW system in the air defense system will not require significant costs.
