"Live Communication" with a Tablet: Digital Assistants Appear in Moscow Metro

Devices will help to plan a route, learn about services, and even view job openings

The Moscow Metro has been equipped with digital tablets. They have appeared at the "Live Communication" stands, as announced by Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin.

The devices help passengers build convenient routes, learn about metro services, job openings in the capital's transport sector, and goods and promotions at the souvenir shop. If necessary, special staff are available to answer questions.

The digital tablet also allows users to leave feedback on the service, report a non-working "Live Communication" stand, and find a working one.

They make trips even more comfortable. In May, we introduced digital tablets in test mode at two "Live Communication" stands. Now they can be found at all points.

Currently, there are 30 "Live Communication" points operating in the Moscow Metro. The service is popular with passengers, with over 270,000 uses since the beginning of the year. The information points are open daily from 8 AM to 8 PM.

Earlier, www1.ru reported that yellow information terminals are being removed from the Moscow Metro.
