The Russian KVADRA_T tablet has received the "Aurora" OS version 5.1 with the most comfortable interface, device management, and echeloned security system.
"Open Mobile Platform", the developer of "Aurora", notes that this is the first device to use the Linux kernel version 5.10, supported by the Technology Center for Linux Kernel Security Research, created on the basis of ISP RAS under the auspices of the FSTEC of Russia. In agreement with its creators, the corporate version of the "Aurora" OS version 5.1 was integrated into KVADRA_T. Such tablets will be used, in particular, for the public sector and in the educational field.
We are actively developing technological partnerships and are open to cooperation with strong domestic players in the IT market. Our goal is to provide a comprehensive user experience that allows you to get all the benefits of combined ecosystems. Therefore, it was important for us to integrate the "Aurora" operating system and the KVADRA hardware platform to meet the needs of customers in whose IT environment it is necessary to ensure an increased level of security and confidentiality of sensitive data.
In the retail version, the tablet has its own kvadraOS operating system, compatible with a wide range of programs and devices. It received:
- 8-core ARM processor;
- 10.95" IPS screen with Full HD+ resolution;
- 34.2 W·h battery;
- 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB storage;
- two cameras at 5 MP and 13 MP;
- USB-C connector with the ability to connect an external monitor and a set of necessary sensors.
The KVADRA_T tablet is included in the register of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, and has already successfully passed pilot tests in state organizations, including at critical information infrastructure facilities. It is produced at Yadro Fab Dubna, the largest full-cycle radio-electronic production plant in Russia. The device appeared in Russian stores in April 2024.
