Diagnostic System for UAV Operators Invented at SUAI

At St. Petersburg State University of Aerospace Instrumentation (SUAI), equipment has been created to record the health indicators of FPV drone operators. The development is undergoing registration with Rospatent. This was reported by the university's press service.

The device will record the overall condition of the operator based on an assessment of the visual, somatic, and vestibular systems. This will ensure more accurate UAV control.

The FPV drone operator will be able to assess their balance and stability during control. This will eliminate loss of control under high load conditions.

The advantages of the development are that all tests can be carried out on one piece of equipment. The device will also be useful for the rehabilitation of patients with vestibular apparatus problems.

Scientists have already conducted computer modeling and a series of tests to evaluate the system's performance. While the development awaits registration with Rospatent, the project authors are looking for investors to implement the idea.

Earlier, www1.ru reported that the Ministry of Defense showed a video of training operators of strike FPV drones.
