The majority of Russian residents (67%) have a positive attitude towards cyclists, while only 28% of respondents support the use of electric scooters. This is according to a study by the online classifieds service "Avito."
The survey conducted by the service revealed that every second respondent supports the development of infrastructure for cycling. At the same time, 26% are neutral towards cyclists, and 6% are negative.
16% of respondents spoke in favor of increasing the number of electric scooters. Electric scooter drivers do not bother 42% of survey participants, while 28% of respondents have a negative attitude towards them.
Every second survey participant sees health benefits in choosing a summer mode of transport like a bicycle or scooter.
Every fifth respondent has a positive attitude towards Personal Mobility Devices (PMD). A total of 10,000 people from different regions of the country participated in the survey.
