The Russian analogue of Google Play — the mobile application store for Android, RuStore, has gathered applications and games from more than 40 countries. The number of downloads of applications for children and adults is also growing: there are already more than 140 million of them.
This was announced by Dmitry Pankrushev, head of RuStore, at the CIPR conference in Nizhny Novgorod. He noted that RuStore has exceeded the mark of 10,000 application and game developers. These include indie developers, teams, and game studios. They are mainly from Russia, the CIS countries, China, Singapore, but there are also citizens of other countries.
Over the year, the number of developers in RuStore has tripled. In just two years, we have created an infrastructure that fully meets the needs of modern developers. All the necessary tools for publishing, testing, and quality control of applications are available in the RuStore Console.
To make the project more accessible, the RuStore developer system was even translated into Chinese in mid-May.
