«Kurganmashzavod» showed a fourth-generation airborne combat vehicle (BMD-4M) with special anti-drone protection. It is protected from drone attacks from all directions.
The BMD-4M received additional armor and is also equipped with special screens, anti-cumulative nets and a special visor are mounted to the turret. All this allows you to protect yourself from FPV drones.
Let us remind you that the BMD-4M accommodates three crew members and four paratroopers. The combat weight of the vehicle is 14 tons. The vehicle is equipped with a 100-mm 2A70 guided missile launcher, a 30-mm 2A72 automatic cannon and a 7.62 mm PKTM coaxial machine gun.
The engine is diesel, with a capacity of 500 hp. Fuel range is 500 km, maximum highway speed is 70 km/h.
Earlier www1.ru wrote that the updated BMP-3 and BMP-4M were sent to the troops. They are equipped with the «Nakidka» protection complex.
